The Green Schools Conference and Expo (GSCE) is heading to the Pacific Northwest in 2020—please join us in Portland for the 10th annual event.
When: March 2–4, 2020
Where: Hilton Portland Downtown, Portland, Oregon
GSCE is the only national event to bring together all the players involved in making green schools a reality: people who lead, operate, build and teach in U.S. schools. The conference is an opportunity for green schools leaders to share challenges, opportunities and lessons learned in their continued advocacy for healthy, sustainable schools. Registration for the conference will open in fall 2019.
Hosted by the Center for Green Schools at USGBC, in partnership with the Green Schools National Network, GSCE offers multiple ways to get involved with educational programming. Session proposals and peer reviewer applications are being accepted from experienced professionals in the areas of green schools; curriculum and education; district and school leadership; or sustainable design, construction and operations. You may also apply to be a part of the Program Working Group.
How to participate in the Program Working Group
Applications are now open for the GSCE Program Working Group (PWG). This group helps review session proposals, participates in conference calls and attends an in-person program retreat, among other responsibilities. PWG members can earn continuing education hours and receive a discounted conference pass to GSCE for participating in the working group.
PWG applications are due by 11:59 p.m. PST on Monday, June 17.
